Help Us Build the Future of Learning
At Gameplan, we’re rethinking what education can look like — making learning relevant, hands-on, and connected to the real world. Through engaging digital curriculum in esports, game design, media, and tech, we help students build future-ready skills and schools meet career and technical education goals.
We're looking for an experienced Educational Account Executive to help bring Gameplan to more districts across the country. If you’ve sold curriculum or LMS solutions to K-12 schools, have strong district-level relationships, and want your work to make a real impact, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
Build relationships with superintendents, CTE/STEAM directors, and other key decision-makers at the district level
Understand district needs, pain points, and goals — then position Gameplan as the right solution
Lead sales cycles averaging ~$50k, while actively pursuing and growing larger contracts ($100K–$250K+)
Negotiate deals that balance value for schools with sustainable growth for Gameplan
Represent Gameplan at conferences and industry events — speak on panels, lead demos, and connect with decision-makers
Help shape and refine our sales strategy as we scale
What Makes This Role Different
High ownership: You’ll shape your territory, experiment with strategy, and have real influence on how we grow
Mission-driven work: You’re helping schools prepare students for real futures — not just selling software
Startup energy: We’re small, scrappy, and moving fast. You’ll be part of the core team building something meaningful
Direct impact: We move quickly, listen closely, and act on great ideas — no layers of red tape
Who You Are
A proven K-12 sales pro with experience selling curriculum or digital learning tools
Deeply networked with district leaders (superintendents, CTE directors, purchasing teams, etc.)
Comfortable leading complex sales cycles and navigating school funding and budgets
Tech-savvy and confident presenting digital platforms to educators and leadership teams
Driven by outcomes, for students, schools, and your own success
Based in the US and ready to work remotely
Proficient with a CRM (we use HubSpot)
Bonus Points If You…
Understand how Career & Technical Education (CTE) is structured and funded
Have experience in esports, AI in education, or Microsoft/Minecraft for Education
Know how to navigate funding streams like Perkins V, ESSER, and Title I
What It’s Like to Work Here
At Gameplan, we:
Take ownership and move with purpose
Care deeply about helping all students access opportunities
Build a culture of honest feedback, smart risk-taking, and continuous learning
Work collaboratively — but with lots of independence
Are early, lean, and hungry — and excited about what comes next
Sound like a fit?
We’re ready to grow with the right person. If you’re excited to help shape the future of education and grow your career while you’re at it, we’d love to hear from you.
